🧵 Materials Needed

  • Scheepjes Stone Washed XXL yarn in colours

2 x 871 Axinite, 1 of each of the following Crystal Quartz, Chlorite Green, Brown Agate, Deep Amethyst, Blue Apatite

  • 9mm crochet hook, 10mm hook if your tension is tight

  • Scissors

  • Yarn needle

  • Stitch markers (optional)


You can substitute with any super chunky yarn for a similar effect.

  • Colour A: Axinite

  • Colour B: Crystal Quartz

🌈 Colour Pattern Sequence

The blanket follows a structured colour repeat using Colour A (Axinite) between each feature colour.

  • Work 2 rows of Colour A between each colour change

  • Each feature colour is worked for 1 row only

Base Repeat:A, B, A, C, A, D, A, E, A, F, A, B

🔁 Extended Colour Flow:

After the initial sequence, continue rotating through the colours in a flowing, wave-like order:

Row 1 (Colour A)

Sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across, Turn (71)

Row 2 (Colour A)

Sc in first stitch Ch 1, skip next stitch, sc in next stitch, Repeat to end of row, Sc in last 2 stitches, Turn

Row 3 (Colour A)

Repeat Row 2 (moss stitch pattern)Turn

Row 4 (Colour B)

Change to Colour B (Crystal Quartz)Work moss stitch across, Sc in last 2 stitches, Turn

Row 5–6 (Colour A)

Change to Colour A Work moss stitch across each row, Sc in last 2 stitches of each row, Turn

🔁 Continue Pattern

Continue working in moss stitch, following the colour sequence provided, always remembering:

👉 Last 2 stitches of every row = 1 sc in each stitch

Repeat until your blanket reaches your desired length.

🧵 Finishing

  • Fasten off

  • Weave in all ends

  • Block if desired
